Living Evidence 2026: It’s a wrap

Living Evidence 2026 brought together international and Australian experts in evidence synthesis and guideline development to explore the future of living guidelines and artificial intelligence in health guidance. Across a workshop, symposium and dedicated AI forum, speakers examined methodological innovation, research integrity, AI-enabled surveillance, GRADE guidance, lived experience involvement and implementation at scale. Discussions focused on moving living evidence from innovation to sustainable integration, and on ensuring AI augments human expertise in transparent, ethical and evidence-informed ways. The event highlighted the growing maturity of living methodologies and the need for coordinated approaches across policy, technology and practice.
