Calling all patients and carers who are familiar with clinical guidelines…

If you are, or have been, a patient or carer who’s used clinical guidelines, the Australian Living Evidence Collaboration would love to hear from you.

Based at Monash University, the Collaboration’s Living Guidelines Survey aims to gather and explore your views about how best to introduce and support the use of new ‘living guidelines’ to patients and carers.

While traditional guidelines are usually updated every 3 to 5 years, living guidelines are continually updated with the latest evidence in near real time.

While we know living guidelines deliver the latest evidence-based recommendations to healthcare professionals, we want to learn more about supporting patients and carers to use them too.

So if you’ve used a clinical guideline to make a health decision and/or have been involved in developing a guideline, please share your views on how we can help shape living guidelines to deliver better health for everyone.

The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and closes on 22 September 2023.
